This high-energy event combines creativity, strategy, and service as teams race to build brand-new wheelchairs for veterans and individuals in need of mobility assistance. Using our proprietary BridgeTheApp™ on Apple® iPads®, participants complete physical and mental photo, video, and trivia challenges to earn the parts needed to assemble wheelchairs—each uniquely personalized with heartfelt signs and messages. The excitement peaks when teams design and race their wheelchairs on a custom-built track before donating them to charity. From start to finish, this event fosters teamwork, gratitude, and the incredible joy of giving back to America’s heroes and other deserving individuals.

Event Flow:

1. Welcome & Icebreaker
   • Teams are formed, and an engaging icebreaker sets a fun, collaborative tone.
   • Team captains are selected as the group gears up for a mission with meaning: build and personalize a wheelchair for someone in need.
2. Tech Briefing & Challenge Strategy
   • Each team receives an Apple® iPad® loaded with BridgeTheApp™, our interactive game platform.
   • A quick walkthrough explains how to earn points through photo, video, trivia, and physical challenges.
   • Teams assign roles based on strengths—builders, artists, storytellers, and cheerleaders—all working toward a common goal.
3. Mission Challenges & Points for Parts
   • Teams complete challenges designed to test creativity, coordination, and critical thinking.
   • As points accumulate, teams “purchase” wheelchair components and decorative materials from the supply station.
   • Bonus challenges keep energy high and allow teams to showcase their style, spirit, and storytelling abilities.
4. Wheelchair Assembly & Customization
   • With materials in hand, teams get to work building their wheelchairs—mechanically inclined participants lead the construction.
   • Artistic teammates create heartfelt signage, filled with gratitude and inspiration, to accompany each chair.
   • A live mini “marketing campaign” gives teams a chance to present their finished product and the story behind it.
5. Wheelchair Races on the Track
   • Teams take their fully assembled chairs to a fun, safe, custom-designed race track.
   • Relay-style races or obstacle courses bring laughter, competition, and energy as teams push teammates in their completed wheelchairs.
   • Awards are presented for “Fastest Team,” “Best Style,” and “Most Spirited.”
6. Final Inspection & Charitable Presentation
   • Each wheelchair undergoes a spirited quality check to ensure safety and creativity standards are met.
   • The highlight of the event arrives when a representative from a partnering charity—such as the VA, Disabled American Veterans, or another local organization—accepts the donated wheelchairs on behalf of their community.
   • Emotions run high as participants witness the tangible impact of their efforts.
