Supermarket Sweep is a fast-paced, strategy-driven team-building event that fuses the excitement of classic game shows with the heart of charitable giving. Inspired by Supermarket Sweep and The Price Is Right, teams strategize, shop, and race the aisles in a high-energy battle to build care packages for Veterans and active-duty servicemen and women. With timers ticking, boards to clear, and a drill sergeant-style facilitator keeping energy levels sky-high, this event delivers laughter, rivalry, and a heartfelt purpose. The finale brings it all together as every item is boxed up and donated to a charitable organization.

Event Flow:

  1. Welcome & Icebreaker
    • Participants are welcomed by a lively facilitator who sets the competitive, good-natured tone.
    • Teams are formed and assigned their shopping boards (squares with dollar amounts to hit).
    • A quick “Price Is Right” warm-up game gets everyone thinking strategically about value and cost.
  2. Strategy Session
    • Teams study photos of products and work together to decide which items could bring them closest to their target amounts without going over.
    • Captains assign roles: strategists, runners, and scorekeepers.
  3. Supermarket Sweep Challenges
    • One shopper at a time braves the aisles under the pressure of a countdown clock.
    • Teammates cheer, calculate, and adjust strategy as the game unfolds.
    • The “drill sergeant” facilitator keeps energy high with playful commands, countdowns, and encouragement.
  4. Mission Accomplished Check
    • After each run, teams tally up their products to see if they’ve achieved “Mission Accomplished” for their board squares.
    • The race continues until one team clears their entire board and earns the prestigious title of Supermarket Sweep Champions.
  5. Awards & Charitable Presentation
    • Teams are recognized in fun categories such as:
      – Fastest Shopper
      – Most Accurate Board Strategy
      – Loudest Cheer Squad
      – Supermarket Sweep Champions (overall winners)
    • All products are boxed up and prepared for donation to a local organization in the area
