Unleash your inner superhero with Build a Hero, a high-energy team experience where creativity, collaboration, and heart collide. From designing capes and masks to writing origin stories, teams create superhero kits that inspire confidence and bring joy to children in need.

Fueled by imagination, creativity, and a love for lifting others up, Build a Hero is a spirited, team-building experience where participants channel their inner superheroes to bring joy and confidence to children in need. Using our proprietary BridgeTheApp™ on Apple® iPads®, teams compete in high-energy photo, video and trivia challenges to earn the materials needed to assemble custom superhero costumes. From crafting capes and masks to writing comic book storylines and live performances, this dynamic event is equal parts fun, teamwork, and heart. The end result? A set of fully outfitted, ready-for-action superhero kits donated to kids who need a reminder of their own strength.

 

Event Flow:

  1. Welcome & Icebreaker
    • A high-energy kickoff sets the stage with superhero music and motivational messages.
    • Fun, fast-paced icebreakers get participants laughing and moving.
    • Groups are formed into “hero teams” and introduced to the mission: unleash your inner hero to inspire a child.
  2. Tech Briefing & Strategy Session
    • Each team receives an Apple® iPad® loaded with BridgeTheApp™ gamification app, teams tackle a series of fun photo, video, and trivia challenges.
  • A quick walkthrough covers challenge types, points, and how to unlock materials.
    • Teams assign creative and strategic roles—costume designers, comic book writers, performers, and more.
  1. Heroic Challenge Missions
    • Teams tackle a mix of photo, video, and trivia-based missions themed around bravery, heroism, and imagination.
    • Bonus activities include dramatic reenactments, sound effect battles, and costume concept pitches.
    • As they earn points, teams unlock superhero costume elements—capes, masks, emblems, and accessories.

 

  1. Costume Assembly & Comic Campaign
    • Teams design and assemble full superhero outfits with the materials they’ve earned.
    • A short comic book story is created to capture their hero’s origin, powers, and mission.
    • Teams perform their comic campaign live for the group, complete with dramatic flair and superhero poses.
    • Completed kits, along with comic book stories, are donated to children’s hospitals, shelters, or nonprofit partners that serve underserved youth.

 

  1. Wrap-Up & Super Recognition
    • A highlight reel features the most epic, funny, and heartfelt moments.
    • Awards are given for Most Heroic Team, Best Costume Design, and Top Comic Book Performance.
    • Final reflections celebrate the power of creativity and giving back: every child deserves to feel like a superhero.
