Suspend to Transcend is a visually stunning, high-impact team-building and professional development experience inspired by the innovation, artistry, and excellence of Cirque du Soleil. The event unfolds in two powerful phases—Suspend and Transcend—guiding participants from competitive challenges and creative learning into full-scale collaboration and performance. Using BridgeTheApp, teams earn points through engaging physical and mental challenges, then transform those insights into characters, costumes, stunts, and a live show. The experience culminates in a show-stopping performance that celebrates creativity, trust, and collective achievement.

Event Flow

  1. Welcome, Inspiration & Icebreaker
  • Participants are welcomed by a high-energy facilitator and introduced to the Cirque-inspired theme
    • The concept of suspending limits—physical, mental, and creative—is framed
    • A dynamic icebreaker builds excitement and team pride
    • Teams are formed and captains are selected
  1. Phase One: Suspend – Challenge & Discovery
  • Teams receive iPads® loaded with BridgeTheApp
    • Through a series of interactive physical and mental challenges, teams earn points
    • Challenges highlight Cirque du Soleil principles such as:

  • Creativity under pressure
    • Competition fuels energy as teams race to maximize points
  1. Expedition & Flare Experiences
  • Expedition: Participants explore how Cirque conceives the “unbelievable,” learning how ideas become iconic performances
    Flare: A live demonstration introduces signature Cirque-style movements and visual elements
    • These moments inspire teams as they prepare to create their own performance
  1. Phase Two: Transcend – Creation & Collaboration
  • Teams shift from competition to collaboration
    • Participants create characters and design costumes, makeup, and props
    • Guided by world-class artists and coaches, teams:

  • Conceptualize original stunts and transitions
    • Creativity, trust, and communication drive the process

  • Teams rehearse their performance, refining movement, timing, and storytelling
