Look out professional gourmands! This high-tech expedition is a progressive culinary experience unparalleled by any other! Taking place al fresco, as well as inside the most exciting local eateries, team building has never tasted better!
From the beginning of mankind, with hunters and gatherers, to today’s hottest cooking and eating trends, chasing our grub has been an inherent trait, in order to sustain our body’s energy. Our Wild Grub Chase is the newest and hottest form of “hunting and gathering,” where teams are pitted against each other, challenged with mental and physical challenges, all while sampling tasty eats, in a chase to the finish line.
Armed with nothing but an iPad®, a food & beverage budget, an empty stomach, and a whole lot of team spirit, your scavengers will locate a variety of local establishments ranging from coffee shops, to cafés, to chophouses, to street carts, to . . . well, the menu is full of options. Along the way, using BridgeTheApp™, our proprietary app, designed for use on the Apple® iPad®, teams are tasked with a series of photo, video, and trivia challenges. Through the use of text messaging, social media interactions, GPS, and a multitude of additional interactive features, our easy-to-use, icon-driven interface is the stuff of technological advancement.
During the quest, teams will stumble upon exciting points of interest, interact with eclectic professionals in the food-service industry, and discover the unique tastes and flavors of your specific locale. To add some spice to your event, we also incorporate an assortment of challenge stations at certain stops, where teams’ wit, stamina, and perseverance are all put to the test. And of course, sampling the tasty, local cuisine, along the way, is a given!
And of course, no culinary expedition is complete without one team winning the “silver spoon” at the final awards ceremony!
As with all of our Wild Chases, at the conclusion of the hunt, should your group convene at a shared location capable of meeting our audio/visual needs, we are able to showcase your participants’ energy and vitality, by presenting a montage of the photos and videos taken throughout their pursuits. This exciting presentation showcases the hilarity and intensity of the day’s trials and tribulations, all within a collegial camaraderie.
And, shortly after your event, your inbox will contain a link to a web page where all of the photos and videos, captured by your participants, will be available for viewing and download.
