STOMP, ROCK & ROLL

Turn the beat around!  No . . . giddy up and gallop on!  No . . . put your pedal to the medal!  WAIT . . . it’s all three . . . what?!?!  Yes, we have combined the excitement of bongo drums, the Kentucky Derby, and the Daytona 500 to bring your participants a heart-warming, team building program which not only creates unity, camaraderie, and trust among your participants, but helps underserved children in our communities.

Our Will To Wheel bike build program provides bikes to underserved children, generally in the 8 – 13 year old range.  But what about the little tykes?  Stomp, Rock & Roll has that covered!

After teams are formed, and the “game frame of mind” is established through a fun ice-breaking activity, the competition begins.  Using iPads®, which host our proprietary game app, BridgeTheApp™, teams earn points by completing a variety of physical and mental challenges.  As various benchmarks are met, the un-decorated bongo drums, unassembled wooden rocking horses, and Huffy Green Machines® are procured by each team, who then decorate the drums, assemble and inspect the horses and Green machines®, and then give them a trial run.  A distribution of talents is essential, as teams race to beat the clock.  Those who are mechanically inclined will likely focus on the two items’ construction.  Those who are more artistically inclined often find themselves decorating the drums, or creating homemade banners to attach to the Green Machines®.  And those with a dramatic flare tend to lead the team in its “percussive performance” (using the bongos and other non-traditional “instruments”, and naming the team’s horse and “car”), to be performed live toward the end of the event.

As teams race toward the finish line, in an attempt to win the gold medals, camaraderie, compassion, and competition are all in full force.

After your bongos have been decorated, and your horse and Green machines® cross the finish line, they are presented to a representative from a local charity (usually a local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House, the Boys & Girls Club, or similar organizations) that receives your kind donation on behalf of its members.  When possible, an unexpected visit from children, accepting the drums, rocking horses, and Green machines® surprises and further motivates your group, while tugging at everyone's heart strings.

As with all BridgeTheApp™-powered events, shortly after its conclusion, your inbox will contain a link to a web page where all of the photos and videos, captured by your participants, will be available for viewing and download.
