Power in Numbers is a fast-paced, memory-driven activity designed to build stronger bonds, sharpen listening skills, and encourage teamwork. By sharing and recalling fun personal “favorites” such as colors, foods, or sports teams, participants quickly learn more about one another while relying on collaboration and strategy to succeed.

This engaging challenge is equal parts fun and functional—blending humor, focus, and teamwork to strengthen communication and connection across the group. Whether played as a standalone event or as part of a larger team-building experience, Power in Numbers is a guaranteed way to spark engagement and camaraderie.

 

Event Flow:

  1. Welcome & Introduction
  • Participants gather as the facilitator explains the challenge and its objectives.
  • Quick overview of the rules ensures everyone understands how to play.
  1. Sharing Favorites
  • Each participant takes a turn sharing a favorite (e.g., color, food, sports team).
  • Teammates listen carefully, knowing they’ll be asked to recall these later.
  1. Memory Round
  • Starting with the first team member, each participant attempts to recall the favorites of their teammates in order.
  • Teammates respond with a simple “yes” or “no” to confirm accuracy.
  1. Passing the Turn
  • If a participant misses an answer, the turn passes to the next teammate in line.
  • Team members who miss return to the “end of the line” for another chance later.
  1. Lifeline Option
  • Each team has one lifeline to ask another member for help.
  • Strategy and timing are critical to maximize success.
  1. Scoring
  • Teams award themselves points on the honor system:
    • 2,000 points if every participant correctly recalls their teammates’ favorites.
    • 1,000 points if not all are recalled, but the team completes the activity.
  1. Debrief & Reflection
  • Facilitator leads a short discussion on the importance of listening, memory, and teamwork.
  • Participants leave with stronger connections and shared laughter from the challenge.
